Snerpa Power and EDIH-IS Collaborate to drive Innovation in AI, HPC and Cybersecurity for the Electricity Market

We are very happy to announce an exciting collaboration between Snerpa Power and the European Digital Innovation Hub Iceland (EDIH-IS) and related National Competence Centers that aims to revolutionize the landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI), High Performance Computing (HPC), and cybersecurity solutions for the energy sector in Iceland and beyond.

Snerpa Power is forward thinking, focusing on smart, digital solutions. We are dedicated to exploring cutting-edge technologies and pushing the boundaries of innovation in the digital realm for the benefit of the energy system. The collaboration with EDIH-IS and NCC-for HPC&AI (NCC-IHPC) is an important step in our journey to further enhance our offerings and elevate our capabilities in the realm of AI-driven technologies and cybersecurity.

EDIH-IS, a member of the European Digital Innovation Hub network, brings a wealth of expertise, resources, and a collaborative ecosystem. EDIH-IS is comprised of the leading actors in the field of AI, HPC and Cybersecurity in Iceland, i.e. the University of Iceland, the Reykjavík University, Auðna - The National Tech Transfer Office, The National Research Institute (Rannís), Origo and Syndis. As Iceland's premier hub for digital innovation and infrastructure, they are instrumental in fostering a culture of technological advancement and empowering businesses to harness the full potential of digital technologies.

Snerpa Power is among the first SME´s to start the journey with EDIH-IS.
