UT Messan 2023

Snerpa Power participated in UTmessa 2023, the largest IT event in Iceland, held annually in Harpa Conference Centre in Reykjavík. The purpose of the UTmessa is to highlight the importance of information technology and its effects on individuals, businesses, and society. The event is a collaboration between Ský (The Icelandic Computer Society), the University of Iceland, Reykjavík University, and multiple Icelandic tech companies.

UT messan gathers leaders and experts in the IT field in Iceland and from abroad. It's a highly inspirational conference including an expo area with over 1000 people attending annually. The conference consists of parallel lectures and an expo area. Lectures of 20 min each are running in 10 parallel lines, this year focusing on various areas of IT such as operations, security, AI, automation and sustainability.

Íris Baldursdóttir, Snerpa Powers´ CEO and co-founder, was among the presenters in the Sustainability line. Her presentation was titled: Virtual Power Plants Contributing to the Improved Utilization of Renewable Resources.
